Cambodian man held for attempt to rob Thai air-hostess

A 23-year-old Cambodian man was arrested and charged with attempting to rob a Thai air-hostess at a car park near the Liabduan Ram-intra Market at mid-night last night, the Thai-language Matichon reported today (March 17, 2021).

The air-hostess wrote in her Facebook page that the robber opened the front door of the car where she was seating, choked her and told her to give him cash and valuables.

“I fought back and managed to get out of the car and yelled for help,” she told Matichon.

The Cambodian man was first charged with entering Thailand without permission.

He said he has been living and working in Thailand for a long time.
