A lot of citizens and tourists in Pattaya and Koh Larn were greatly annoyed by the actions of a Canadian man residing in Pattaya. After the police found the man, turns out this wasn’t his first time driving people insane.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Piyapong Ensarn was notified at 10.30 am 31 July 2019 of a foreign man harassing boats in the Pattaya waters using his Jet Ski. The man was cutting off other boats causing dangerous risks and he was also climbing into random tourist boats in the area. The man then drove his jet ski into the Jomtien Beach trying to hide from the officials.
He was driving his jet ski into parts of the waters where small boats and jet skis were not allowed. He was even driving the jet ski around Bali Hai Pier. Some sections of the waters are closed off to small boats including jet skis for a reason, it is extremely dangerous and can be life-threatening in case of a crash with big boats or ferries.
When the man saw officials on the waters he drove to Koh Larn and started to drive his jet ski extremely close to people swimming in the ocean. He then used the jet ski to cut off a boat that was delivering tourists from Pattaya to Koh larn Island. The man thought he was mocking the officials and that he could outsmart them, but they finally arrested him at the Ocean Marina Yacht Club in Na Jomtien.
He is Baker William Alexander 45 years old from Canada. He has all the required documents to drive a boat and his jet ski, but that will be history as the officials are working on canceling his permits. He will be prosecuted if he attempts to drive his jet ski next time. Baker was delivered to the Tourist Police and the Immigration Police for further prosecution.
This is not the first time Baker harassed other people. After the officials found him they discovered Baker is the same guy that attacked random people on the street with a knife and climbed on top of random villagers roofs. He is currently in the prosecution process of the knife case with the Pattaya Police.
