Clean-up in Buri Ram areas after trader found with Covid-19
A clean-up of the Municipal Wet Market and other areas in Prakoanchai sub-district of the northeastern Thai province of Buri Ram took place last night (April 28, 2021) after a local vegetable trader was found with Covid-19.
The clean-up was ordered by District Officer Boontem Kanlayapanit to ensure the locals and visitors that they are now safe.
According to police investigators, the vegetable trader had regularly worn his face mask.
The trader’s family members and close relatives and as well as neighbors will also be called to test for Covid-19.
Local officials are now surveying the number of people who have been in close contact with the vegetable trader.
As of yesterday, there were 92 residents in Buri Ram with Covid-19, with one death.
