POLICE have called a company that was filming an obscene sex toy movie on Khao Sarn road for questioning this afternoon with the initial charges being putting things up in a public place and obscenity, INN News reported today (Jan. 18).
Pol Lt-Col Phuwadol Onphothi, deputy traffic head at Chana Songkram police station, said the video clip shared on social media by Facebook member “Poo Banglampoo” states that foreigners arranged Khao San road as a sex toy sale area in filming this movie, with both the road and the movie being in an obscene style.
Police have checked this incident and ordered a halt to the filming of this movie, while also questioning witnesses and collected evidence from the video clip which has spread online.
Initially legal action will be taken against the Thai company for putting things up in a public place and obscenity.
No charges have been filed against the foreign actors, who are Indians, because the Thai company has to be questioned first.
Pol Lt-Col Phuwadol added that Chana Songkram police did not know the script of the movie when they allowed the filming, however if any officer is found to have colluded in this wrongdoing, he will be disciplined and punished.
