Crackdown on over-priced face masks

The Internal Trade Department (ITD) is cracking down on shops that sell over-priced face masks.

The ITD has set the price of a face mask at 2.50 baht, but a number of shops in Bangkok and other provinces are selling them at higher prices.

Director-General Wattanasak Sua-iam said the ITD produces around 4.5-5 million face masks daily, which is enough for the needs of consumers.
