PEOPLE living along the Mae Klong River in Ampawa District of the Thai province of Samut Songkram are on ‘high alert’ after a big crocodile was spotted in the river this morning (April 19), sanook.com reported.
The reptile was first seen in the upper part of the river in Ratchaburi Province and officials believe it has been going downstream.
“This is not a rumor,” said Ampawa District Officer Sukon Suwansaksin. “All communities along the river have been told to watch out for the crocodile, and contact local officials if they see it.”
