Danish tourist rescued from national park
A 51-year-old Danish tourist was rescued last night after losing her way in Khao Chamao-Khao Wong National Park in the southeastern Thai province of Rayong, Sanook.com reported today (Nov. 2).
Mrs Eva Gilling went into the park with her 40-year-old boyfriend, who alerted Rayong police after she strayed off the walking path and got lost in the evening.
Fifty tourist policemen and forestry officials found her sitting near a waterfall around 11 pm, after a six-hour search.
