Disabled children join mourning for HM the late King

ALL parts of the country held merit-making ceremonies for the late His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej while huge crowds of people continued to steadily line up to pay their respects and sign the condolence book at the Grand Palace today, Thai News Agency said.

Among them were a group of 60 disable children who came to join the mourning to mark the seventh day of the passing away of HM the King last Thursday in memory of his kindness towards the disabled all along.

It is expected that around 30,000 to 40,000 people will likely be able pay their respects today with the Royal Household Bureau ensuring orderliness and also making sure very few of them miss their turn.

Meanwhile at the Royal Thai Army headquarters Army Chief General Chalermchai Sittisart presided over a merit-making ceremony for the late HM the King while Lt Gen Apirat Kongsompong, commander of the 1st Region Army, also led civil servants and army unit leaders in performing a similar merit-making ceremony.
