A medical doctor was shot dead by a gunman at his clinic in Petchaburi Province before noon yesterday (Dec 19, 2020).
According to the Thai-language daily Khao Sod, the gunman entered the clinic at 11.30 a.m. and asked Dr. Chumpol Decha-ampai to check his fever.
As the doctor finished his checking, the gunman said he would fetch his wallet to pay for the doctor’s fee.
He returned with a gun and shot the doctor to death before driving away.
