NEIGHBORS had been searching in vain for 63-year-old Pradaptong Kamma since he went into the forest to collect herbal plants four days ago, until one of his three dogs turned up at his home in Chanthaburi Province this morning (March 17) and barked loudly, Sanook.com reported.
Family members and neighbors followed the dog into the nearby forest in Pong Namron District and found the other two dogs guarding Mr Pradaptong’s body.
The neighbors speculated that Mr Pradaptong had been trampled to death because there were elephant footprints around his body. Police have sent his body to a forensic official for further examination.
