Drug Lord caught in Nakhon Si Thammarat

Drug Lord caught in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, he shows off to the police and states, “I am the biggest seller in the province. Police Major General Nuntadech Yoi Nuan reported on the 30th of March this year the capture of Utai Maiyam known to the people as Men Tapaya 38 years old.

Men Tapaya was caught with evidence including 990,800 amphetamine pills known in Thailand as Ya Ba and 4 kilograms of powder amphetamine worth over 53 million THB in the current drug market. The police revealed that the police have been investigating and secretly tracking Men Tapaya and were able to finally discover his real name.

 

They set up a sting operation against Men Tapaya by playing as a big buyer. The delivery was to be made at a hotel in Nakhon Si Thammarat. When Men Tapaya walked in, the police arrested him on the spot and brought him to the police station along with the big pile of drugs as evidence to the case against Men Tapaya.

The police were able to find out that Men Tapaya had more drugs hidden in a forest located on a mountain in Ron Phibun district, Nakhon Si Thammarat. The police went to search for the drugs and discovered that the total number of drugs in his current lot includes over 20 kilograms of powder amphetamine and 1.5 million amphetamine pills.  Out of the total number, Men Tapaya stated that this is only his current lot and he has already sold 16 kilograms of powder amphetamine and 500,000 amphetamine pills.

 

Further investigation showed that Men Tapaya has other Thai agents that work as drug sellers for him in neighboring countries. One buyer will order 1.5 million amphetamine pills and 20 kilograms of powder amphetamine every 15 days. Men Tapaya will make 800,000 for the delivery per lot.

The buyer will contact Men Tapaya with a different number every time, he cannot contact the buyer and waits for the order that comes in every 15 days. The police tried to ask Men Tapaya for a bigger seller in the area, but he simply answered: “no need to look any further, I’m the biggest seller in Nakhon Si Thammarat”.
