Drug seller stabbed and bites police, 3 officers injured.
A drug seller was arrested after he shot an enemy to critical condition. He has been hiding inside his girlfriend’s home. When police went to arrest the suspect he fought back by stabbing and biting the police. A total of 3 officers were injured. Police Major General Ponganan Klaiklueng gave orders to related officials on 16 November 2022 to arrest Sontaya known as Mob 30 years old from Chiang Rai Province. The suspect is wanted with arrest warrant no. 312/2565 issued on the 7th of this month by the Thonburi Court.
The arrest warrant is related to charges including attempted murder, owning a gun illegally, and carrying a gun in public. Police also found evidence including an 11 mm gun and 7 bullets, 9 mm gun and 16 bullets, 588.1 grams of crystal meth, and a small weight scale. Mob was arrested in Bangkok. Previously on the 6th Mob had set up a meeting with an enemy concerning problems with selling drugs. They couldn’t come to a good ending, so Mob shot the enemy with his 11 mm gun. The bullet entered the stomach and the enemy ended up in critical condition. Mob ran away after the incident and went into hiding.
The investigation Police discovered that Mob is at his girlfriend’s home in Bangkok. When police surrounded the house Mob knew and tried to run away. He grabbed a broken tile and stabbed 2 officers in the hand. He also bit another officer in the arm. All 3 officers have received medical care and is now safe. Mob is a dangerous criminal and his actions have reflected that he is willing to take whatever risk to get free. He mainly sells Yaba pills but when arrested had crystal meth in his possession. The suspect has been arrested and sent to the Bang Khun Thian Police Station waiting for prosecution.
