A DRUNKEN old monk was defrocked this morning (Dec. 23) after he vomited on a passenger bus travelling in the northeastern Thai province of Surin, the Thai-language Daily News reported.
A passenger told police investigators that the monk drank a lot of whisky from a bottle while waiting inside the bus terminal, spurning fellow passengers who stared at him.
Police investigators found an empty bottle of whisky in his satchel along with 25 bank books. They will question him when he becomes sober.
