Early ATTA roadshow in China

THE Association of Thai Travel Agents (ATTA) will organize an early tourism roadshow in China after two recent mishaps involving Chinese tourists at the Thai tourist resort of Phuket, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported today (July 25, 2018).

ATTA President Wichit Prakorbkosol said its annual roadshow will be moved up from November to September, with visits to Tianjin, Jingtao, Nanjing and Huafei to build up confidence among Chinese tourists.

“The next two months will be crucial,” said Mr Wichit. “Our tourism operators must double their efforts to take very good care of tourists from China. If the tourists are happy, they will tell their friends and families.”
