A team of police in the northeastern Thai province of Mukdaharn yesterday (April 17, 2019) seized 25 rosewood logs worth more than 250,00 baht in a go-down owned by a wealthy Thai person, the Thai-language daily Matichon reported.
Police detectives said the logs were about to be sent to a wealthy person in the Laotian province of Sawannakhet.
Rosewood is sought after by rich Thai and Laotian persons who consider it a prized possession.
