Explosions create fear, citizens thought tourist’s bag was a bomb.

There were at least 6 bombs explosions in Bangkok on the 2nd of this month (2 August 2019). The first 2 bombs went off around 8.30 to 9 am, right when people are rushing to work near the exit of Chong Nonsi BTS Station. There were also explosions by the government complex within the same day.  Locals can report suspicious items for the bomb squad, but it is no surprise that some items might be placed in random locations to stir Bangkokians and raise the level of fear. It is best to be aware of your surroundings and the people around you at all times.
