Fire completely destroys pub near Pattaya

A BIG fire that raged for over an hour completely gutted a pub in Banglamung district near Pattaya last evening (June 12) with five people being injured and damage estimated at 10 million baht, Thai News Agency said.

At around 4.30 pm yesterday police, soildiers and Pattaya public disaster relief officials rushed to Muze pub with five fire engines and a fire boom lift but failed to control the blaze even after an hour of spraying water. At this point the roads surrounding the pub were blocked to traffic and people living nearby told to evacuate.
