Fire hits newly-opened shopping center in Chonburi
A BIG fire at a newly opened shopping center in Chonburi selling bedding products could result in at least 500 million baht damage, Thai News Agency said today (March 19).
Police have strictly cordoned off the shopping center selling Modern Latex (Thailand) Company’s bedding products because they fear that the building might collapse. Fire engines have also been stationed in the neighborhood as the blaze is still continuing in some parts of the building.
The cause of this big fire is still being determined but police initially believe it was due to a short circuit as the blaze started in a solid warehouse of this three-month-old shopping center.
