First female army officer found with COVID-19

A female Army officer is in hospital yesterday (April 1, 2020) after she was found to have been infected with the Coronavirus (COVID-19), the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported.

The officer first went to Phya Thai 1 Hospital in Bangkok on March 30 after she had high fever. A doctor at the hospital confirmed that she had been infected with the virus and informed her chief officer.

All officers who had been in close contact with the female officer are now in quarantine at the Mongkutklao Hospital. It is not known how she got COVID-19.
