A fishing boat captain in the southeastern Thai province of Rayong is in hospital after he was found with Covid-19, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported yesterday (January 5, 2021).
The captain had a medical check-up before he boarded the fishing boat on December 26, 2020. Rayong Hospital contacted the captain on January 3 and informed him of the results of the check-up.
The captain immediately returned to the pier and was sent to the hospital.
His six crewmen were in Local Quarantine at Wangchan Hospital.
