A 48-year-old fishing boat owner in Silae Village in the southern Thai province of Trang yesterday (April 20, 2020) gave about 4 tons of fish to the locals who are facing difficulty making ends meet, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported.
Mrs. Cherdchoam Kaewfoong said she was happy to help people in the village, many of whom have become jobless due to the poor economic situation.
The villagers said they were aware of the COVID-19 problem and everyone is taking good care of themselves during this difficult situation.
