THE Airport Authority of Thailand (AAT) early this morning (Dec 7) shut down the airport in the southern Thai province of Nakhon Si Thammarat, which is now submerged after a night-long heavy rain, the Thai-language daily Khao Sd reported.
The AAT will monitor the situation on a daily basis. Stranded passengers may call three local airlines on the following phone numbers:
- Nok Air – 083-5408538-9
- Air Asia – 075-450505
- Thai Lion Air – 02-529-9999
Passengers may return their air tickets or change flights by calling the airlines on these numbers.
