SAKON Nakhon Airport was shut down at 1.55 pm today (July 28) as its runway was flooded by a heavy rainstorm, Sanook.com reported.
Nok Air cancelled its two flights – DD9406 and DD9410 – that were scheduled to depart at 1.55 and 7.35 pm today.
The airline will monitor the situation around the clock. Mechanics have checked the airport power system and will keep monitoring it.
All flights will resume after the flood has receded.
