Full Moon parties halted for 30 days

 

SURAT Thani Governor Uaychai Innak issued a directive to government officials on Koh Phangan to ask for the cooperation of the operators of the island’s famous Full Moon parties to halt these events for 30 days starting October 14, 2016, Thai News Agency said today.

 Right now some tourists are vacationing on this island but many of them understand the situation, he added.

According to Fullmoon.phangan.info a Full Moon party was scheduled to take place tonight on the island with the next one being fixed for November 14, 2016.
