Governor faces child sex investigation

DEPUTY national police director-general Siwara Rangsiprammanakul has set up a committee to investigate the governor of Mae Hong Son Province for allegedly buying sex from an under-age girl, sanook.com reported today (April 29).

No details were given by the Pol-Gen Siwara, who said investigation was ongoing. Region 5 police, which have jurisdiction over Mae Hong Son, will be in charge of the case.

In his Facebok post, the governor of Uttaradit Province said he believed the Mae Hong Son governor was not involved in the alleged affair.
