The Meteorological Department announced yesterday (May 9, 2019) that all regions except the south of Thailand will continue to face hot weather in the next 24 hours, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.
Bangkok and nearby provinces will face rainstorms and high winds in 20 percent of their areas, with the weather reaching 36-38 degrees Celcius.
A high pressure wedge from China will also move to the upper part of Thailand and this may cause storms and strong winds.
