Joint Thai-Lao tourism promotion
Thailand and Laos will join hands to organize a ‘Buddhism Tourism’ campaign to attract more tourists to the two neighboring countries, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported yesterday (Dec 10, 2018).
The two countries will jointly publish an electronic book online for those interested in this type of tourism.
Thai Tourism Minister Weerasak Kowsurat said this new form of tourism campaign will attract more visitors to Thailand and Laos, who have similar culture and language.
