Khon Kaen restricts sale of alcohol to prevent COVID-19 until 30 April 2020

Khon Kaen Governor Somsak Jangtrakoon yesterday (15 April 2020) announced restrictions on the selling and drinking of alcohol to contain the spread of COVID-19  extends ban on alcohol sales until 30 April 2020, the Thai-language daily Khao Sod reported.

All public parks and public places in the province will be closed earlier than before.

Khon Kaen Hospital has received five COVID-19 patients for medical treatment. Four of them have returned home and one remains in the hospital.
