Immigration police in the northern Thai province of Loei yesterday (March 20, 2021) arrested nine foreign workers and charged them with entering the country without permission.
Loei Chief Immigration Police Officer Chanapon Suwansinon said five Vietnamese and four Laotians were arrested after a tip-off by local residents.
“The foreign men did not have permits to stay in Thailand,” said Officer Chanapon.
They sneaked into the country with the help of human traffickers.
