Lucky driver survives as container flattens car
THE driver of a sedan onto which a container fell earlier today (Dec. 27) miraculously survived and is under medical treatment in a hospital, INN News reported.
The startling accident occurred on Nakhon In Road after the container truck was driven there from Bang Khun Kong circle near a Kanchanapisek road exit point.
The sedan was completely crushed by the container, particularly the passenger compartment with the driver stuck within.
Rescuers brought cutters and managed to free him and have sent him to the hospital, while officials are now clearing the road.
