A man on drugs destroyed a local convenient store in Samut Sakhon Province around 4.30am on the 11th of this month. The Ban Paew Police were notified of an extremely angry man who appeared to be more than drunk in a famous convenience store. Many of the shelves and products inside the store were thrashed around, the customers and staff were shocked and didn’t know what to do due to the fear of danger.
Police Lieutenant Nattapol Meesuwan from the Ban Paew Police Station went to inspect the convenience store and discovered that the shelves were tipped over and the products were scattered all over the floor, some of which appeared to be in unsellable conditions.
The staff was still in shock when the police arrived, but after some time they each stated what had happened. One staff stated that the one to blame was a man who appeared to be around 40 years old. The man walked into the store and yelled: “Why the He** are you in my room”. He then started throwing the shelves around and destroying the products.
After creating a huge mess and creating damage to the store, the man walked out as nothing had just happened. Other customers inside the store and the staff didn’t intervene because they stated that the man seemed crazy and that he was probably under the influence of a drug.
The Police have so far collected the evidence including the security camera footage from the scene. The convenient store staff has filed a report with the police in order for the man to be prosecuted accordingly when the police arrest him.
Not too far apart from where the convenience store was located, other villagers reported that the same man was running around with a hammer after several people. The police worked together with the villagers and finally captured the man named Suchet 40 years old. He has been imprisoned for drug charges in the past and had just come out of jail on April 15th this year.
