Man fakes accident after quarrel with wife

A FISH trader in the northeastern Thai province of Ubon Ratchathani called an emergency center early this morning (August 27) that a car had plunged into a river with three people suffering injuries.

Rescuers rushed to location. They spent two hours looking for the car but found nothing there. They called the trader again but he turned off the phone, Sanook.com reported.

Police later contacted his wife, who told them that she had a big quarrel with her husband, who drove off without saying anything.
