Man steals tip box from cafe run by disabled persons.

A man stole the tip box from a cafe run by disabled persons. Netizens have stated that the man has a disabled heart in order to do what he did. The man was well dressed and walked into the cafe before ordering a coffee. The cafe is named “Yimsoo” cafe located in the S.A.B. Intersection, Bangkok. The security camera recorded the man in action. The man wore a mask as he walked into the coffee shop, he then went to sit inside waiting for the coffee. When the employee inside looked away the man quickly grabbed the tip box and placed it inside a big plastic bag. The incident took place at 10.21 on 22 July 2021. 

 

The man had the bag that was used to steal the box with him all along. It is unknown whether the man planned to steal a tip box as he started the day. He then replaced the tip box with another empty tip box. Officials believe that the thief had previously stolen a tip box from another shop. The cafe now realizes what had happened and are preparing to file a police report. Yimsoo Cafe is run by disabled persons with 2 hearing impaired baristas. Other employees that help around in the coffee shop are also hearing impaired.

 

They all have special interest in coffee and other drinks with dreams to own a small cafe and call it their own. Yimsoo cafe is a training center that is designed to help train disabled persons. The cafe helps drive those with dreams to pursue it with the right training and experience. The goal in the end is to be a part of disabled persons achieving their dreams. The Yimsoo cafe was founded by Professor Wiriya Namsiripongpan, a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Thammasat university. He also founded the Universal Foundation for Persons with Disabilities.
