A 38-year-old motorcyclist was killed early this morning (March 22, 2021) when a tropical storm lashed Tambon Talad in Pimai District of the northeastern Thai province of Nakhon Ratchasima.
The storm uprooted 8 electricity poles, and one of them fell on a tree, killing the male motorcyclist. Several other car drivers managed to stop their vehicles before the accident.
Some of the men were slightly hurt as their bikes skidded on the road.
Local officials had to shut down one of the electricity power stations to repair the power system.
