Nurse dealer caught hiding drugs in the hospital ICU.
This is shocking news about a nurse who was also a drug dealer, stranger than a nurse selling drugs, is that she must’ve believed in the motto “The most dangerous place is the safest”. A part of her illegal drug supply was hidden in a locker located in the hospital’s Intensive care Unit (ICU).
This incident took place on the 3rd of this month when the Prachuap Khiri Khan Police successfully arrested Duangkamol 30 years old. Duangkamol works as a nurse in the ICU, apart from her formal job, she is one of the biggest sellers of Yaba in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, she also offers Methamphetamine (Ice), and marijuana.
At the time of the arrest, Duangkamol had in her possession 21,000 Yaba pills, more than 1 kilogram of Methamphetamine, and 11 kilograms of marijuana. The police suspected that there might be more drugs hidden in another location, somewhere extremely unexpected.
The officials went to the ICU of a local hospital in the province. They discovered a locker next to the wall on the ground floor with illegal drugs hidden inside. The locker had 4 bags of what appeared to be Chinese tea, but inside were Yaba pills. There was also more Yaba pills in small ziplock bags placed inside a medicine box, coming to a total of 9,600 Yaba pills inside the ICU locker. Furthermore, 2 stacks of dried marijuana were also hidden inside the locker
Around the same time,Duangkamol was caught, another team of officers from the Prachuap Khiri Khan Police were able to arrest Duangkamol’s boyfriend named Akerat 36 years old. Inside the couple’s home, they discovered another set of drugs hidden inside. This included 6,000 Yaba pills and 600 grams of Methamphetamine.
Combining the count of illegal drugs discovered in all sources came to 37,940 Yaba pills, 1,465.5 grams of Methamphetamine, and 15 stacks of dried marijuana with a total weight of 15 kilograms.
The police also seized evidence that could be used against the couple in the prosecution process in relation to their drug trade. Together the value of the drugs and evidence came to more than 15 million THB.
