Outrage over mass cat killing

Cat-lovers in the southern Thai province of Songkhla have urged police to find a group of men who dumped 36 cats in a Buddhist temple in the southern Thai province of Songkhla, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported today (Dec 11, 2018).

All 36 cats were later bitten to death by stray dogs that live inside the temple.

A villager this afternoon went to Koh Hong police station with a CCTV footage of the men who dumped the cats. “We are outraged by the cruelty of these men, who must face legal action under the law,” he said.
