Prapat admits that the paddy in all the bags was stolen from Pum, a local farmer in Wang Toh on the 20th of this month (June 2019). He needed to find the money for his 2-month-old baby. Prapat went to visit his friend in the morning, his friend lived near the victim’s house. When he arrived, his friend was not home and Prapat was thirsty.

Prapat decided to walk to the victim’s home to ask for some water, but no one was home. He saw 9 bags of paddy on the floor and decided to steal all of the paddies from his friend’s neighbor. He then hid the paddy in a garbage dump close to his home and found new bags to replace the original bags that the paddy was in, with the attempt to not look suspicious.
