THE ‘war’ between Pattaya City taxis and Uber drivers is unlikely to end soon, as the local drivers are fiercely protecting their turf, Sanook.com reported today (June 8).
In a video clip widely shared online, a Pattaya taxi driver engages in a war of words with an Uber driver, whom he accuses of illegally working in the resort city.
After a heated exchange, the Uber driver took off his shirt and challenged the Pattaya taxi driver to fight with him. A traffic policeman quickly separated the two men, who eventually went their separate ways.
