PM chides students for clinging to foreign concepts

PRIME Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said today (Feb. 20) he is concerned that some groups of students are moving moves by adhering to foreign concepts yet do not look at these other countries and note what losses could occur through change, INN News reported.

Speaking to a delegation who came to see him about organizing public relations activities to mark Makha Bucha Day, General Prayut told the children to use religious teachings in building social harmony and not create rifts, and if there are issues then talks should be held to resolve them.

Prime Minister Prayut also said all that he is doing is for the future generation and urged teachers not to teach students about conflicts, because children only have basic not in-depth knowledge and this could lead to more conflicts.
