PM Prayut uses stand-in prop to dodge questions

PRIME Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha today (Jan. 8) used a joke to dodge reporters’ questions by placing a life-size stand-in of himself for them to address, Sanook.com reported.

After meeting model youngsters who bought fame to the country on the occasion of National Children’s Day, Gen. Prayut, who is also head of National Council for Peace and Order, came out to meet the reporters.

However, instead of himself answering their questions, he told him team to bring out the cutout image and place it in front of the microphone.

“Now if anyone wants to take photos or ask questions about political conflicts, ask this person, bye bye,” he told the reporters, which immediately raised gales of laughter.

These reporters think the political issues which Prime Minister Prayut does not want to talk about should be about the photos of former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra standing in front of a famous department store in England.

National Police Chief Pol.Gen. Chakthip Chaijinda has confirmed that Yingluck is in England.
