Police chasing Yingluck in Beijing

THE POLICE team tracking down fugitive former prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra, who was found guilty and sentenced to 5 years in prison after being convicted of mishandling a rice subsidy scheme, will be contacting the Chinese government to find out where she is staying in Beijing tomorrow, INN News reported today (Feb. 11).

The team wants the Chinese government to confirm whether photos of her and her brother, former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, shopping in Beijing yesterday are real or not.

This team will also be liaising with the Foreign Affairs Division of the Royal Thai Police as to whether the warrant for the arrest of Yingluck has been sent to Interpol.
