Police gear up to search 5 massage parlors

POLICE are moving to get warrants to search 5 massage parlors including Victoria’s: The Secret Forever which were registered by the same person, Thai News Agency said today (Jan. 23).

Deputy National Police Chief Pol. Gen. Srivara Rangseepromnakul said he ordered the Natural Resources and Environmental Crime Suppression Division to ask the court for warrants to search 5 of 7 massage parlors which Miss Sasithorn Wirathepsuporn registered, with these being Victoria’s: The Secret Forever, Long Beach, Embassy, The Lott and Copacabana.

This division is to coordinate with related units to go in and check for evidence of breaking 5 laws with these concerning buildings, groundwater, environment, public health and entertainment centers.

All 5 are within Miss Sasithorn’s network and this raises suspicions that something might be wrong, he said, adding that the search has to be concluded by Jan. 27.

Pol. Gen. Srivara also said that the 10 entertainment centers in Miss Sasithorn’s network have been closed since Jan. 15, with police  checking them for evidence of prostitution and if found will liaise with Department of Special Investigation to also check because human trafficking cases are treated as special.

On chasing Victoria’s: The Secret Forever massage parlor owners Mr Kampol Weerathepsuporn, 61, and his wife Nipa, 68, against whom arrest warrants for human trafficking have been issued, he said Metropolitan Police unit 4 and its investigators are tracking them down.
