Police officer forced local government official for a urine test.

This story was told by government official Facebook user “Pla I-Pla”. The incident occurred after she was called aside by a traffic police checkpoint belonging to the local police station in the area, the checkpoint was located in front of the Soi Dao Post Office in Chanthaburi province.

After the police flashed the light rod as a signal for her to pull aside she followed the rules and stopped her car on the left side of the road and lowered her window. Usually, the police will ask if you realized what the offense is, or state to you the offense and ask for legal documents such as your driver’s license and papers documenting the information of the car in use.

The police officer instead took his light rod then hit the women and pulled her roughly aside, forcing her to take a urine test. Normally these urine tests are performed on citizens that show signs of being under the influence of illegal substances such as methamphetamine, marijuana, and other substances. The police officer stated to her that she was driving dangerously on the road.

The women then stated to the police officer that she was also working as an officer in the government, in the past, she has also managed checkpoints on the roads just as the police in the incident were doing. The women told the police that what he did and was doing is not right, she has never done such conflicting acts before.

After the police officer who was being extremely rude and unprofessional to her realized what she was informing to him, the police officer asked the woman for her official government card. The women went to retrieve the card, after the police officers saw her card they quickly apologized to her and stated that they were greatly sorry for what had happened. Although, the police officer who hit her with the light pole never apologized and kept silent.
