Police officer in hot water over second wife
The chief police officer in the central Thai province of Chai-nat has set up a committee to investigate an officer who married a second wife while still in marriage with his first wife, the Thai-language Daily News reported today (Feb 19, 2021).
The issue went viral when the first wife stormed into the second wedding of her husband and showed their wedding registration.
Chai-nat chief police officer Patikorn Harnhattakit said his deputy has requested a temporary off-duty period while a committee investigates the problem.
The chief officer said he will talk with the junior officer and his wife to find a solution together.
