WITH the concerns the Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police Pol.Gen. Chakthip Chaijinda has for the agony that the public would likely have on their trip back from Songkran holiday during April 15 -17, the Metropolitan Police Bureau has been given an order to arrange 20 free service shuttle vans to take people arriving at Bangkok Bus Terminal (Chatuchak) to Mo Chit and Victory Monument BTS stations.
The vans’ running schedule is to be divided into morning and evening. The morning schedule will be from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. and evening from 4 to 8 p.m..
The vans will be waiting at the area in front of the Bangkok Bus Terminal – Chatuchak (aka Mo Chit 2) while officers from the Royal Traffic Police Project, Traffic Police Division and volunteers will be there to help the passengers with loading their luggage.
Additionally, the Department of Land Transport will also provide more than 140 taxis to give rides to those who are coming back to Bangkok at the area in front and the back of the Bangkok Bus Terminal.
