Thonglor police said they know who the attacker is and are getting ready to issue a summons.

Photos of Miss Viphada or Moji Chirathanchokchai, 24, who works in public relations capacity at the swanky Sherbet Exclusive Club in Sukhumvit soi 63 being badly injured sometime from Friday June 23 to early Saturday June 24 are going viral on Thai social media and drawing various comments.

Miss Viphada said she was carrying out her duties as normal when a client,  who was later identified as Kraiwit Chainachit, 37, asked her to join him for drinks.

However she refused and excused herself by saying she wanted to go drink some water. At this point she said the client, who was allegedly already drunk, verbally abused her and dashed towards her to strike her but was stopped by his friend.

She said she backed away but the client picked up a glass and threw it at her face

Miss Viphada, who got a big cut above her left eyebrow a swelling on her forehead, was given first aid and taken to Sukhumvit Hopital before reporting the assault at Thonglor police station at 1.50 am on June 24.
