Prayut meets Thais in Belgium

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha today (Oct 18, 2018) advised Thai people living in Belgium to work hard and learn from other countries that have made good progress, the Thai-language daily Matichon reported.

Gen Prayut is in Brussels for an EU-ASEAN Leaders Meeting, which is taking place in Brussels during October 18-20, 2018.

“Belgium is smaller than Thailand, but the quality of life here is better than in our country,” he said with a group of Thais who met him after his arrival.

“Thailand can learn from Belgium, which puts human development as a top priority in its country,” he added.
