Record 100-million-baht drug haul in Bangkok
Anti-narcotic police raided a luxury house in the eastern suburbs of Bangkok last night and seized 4.2 million methamphetamine pills along with heroin and other narcotics drugs worth altogether more than 100 million baht, Sanook.com reported today (July 25).
The 28-year-old house owner admitted that he was paid by a drug gang to use his home as a distribution center.
Police also seized a van and a car, which had been used to conceal the drugs. The house-owner said he was paid 250,000 baht for each shipment stored in his house.
