Stressed out Japanese woman jumps to her death

AN ailing Japanese woman who was stressed out at having to raise 2 small daughters alone because her husband returned home late every night jumped to her death from the 20th floor of a building in Sukhumvit soi 39, INN News reported today (Sept. 13, 2018).

Thonglor police rushed to the building to investigate the death of Mrs Emi Kato, 35, and concluded that this Japanese woman, who was suffering from some illnesses, most likely committed suicide at being left alone to raise 2 daughters, one 4 years old and the other 3 months.

Police searched the flat but did not find any signs of it being ransacked or that a struggle took place.

An account by an eyewitness plus CCTV footage revealed that her husband left for work at 6.15 a.m. after which at 6.30 a.m. the eyewitness heard a loud noise and upon looking out saw that a woman had fallen down.

The deceased woman’s friend who lives on the 17th floor told police that the 2 of them normally took their children to school together in the morning, but when she did not come down, she herself went up to the flat where she heard children crying, so opened the door and went in.

It was this friend who revealed that the dead woman was deeply unhappy at raising the 2 girls alone with her husband returning late every night.
