Crime Suppression Division (CSD) officers in charge of consumer protection have seized sub-standard high-pressure water hoses worth more than 30 million baht, the Thai-language daily Thai Rath reported yesterday (12 August 2020).
According to the CSD, the water hoses were imported and sold online for 2,000 baht each. It does not have the name of the manufacturer or import documents.
The long tube of the water hose is made of steel, which is not safe for users.
A man in Nonthaburi province has already died using the pressure water hose, and further investigation is underway, said Thai Rath.
